Chanel Blue Satin 461: It's been officially released

It's officially here, Chanel Limited Edition Blue Satin nail polish. It's a beautiful to die for color! Certainly a must have color for the spring! Blue is going to be the "IT" color for spring 2008. So, be sure you get your hands on some, quick! It's already selling out at the Chanel counters and going for $60 a bottle on ebay! And, It was just released!

Orginially, I pre-ordered from Neiman Marcus, but, due to the high volume of backorders, they are heavily delayed and will have to cancel many orders. So, I wasn't about to wait and take that chance. I jumped in my car and headed to the nearest Chanel counter. Luckily, they had very few left. I must say it is totally worth the wait. This color is going to be "IT". Ever since I saw Emily, in The Devil wears Prada, I've been waiting for Chanel to come out with a Blue color. OPI Russian Navy fans this color is very similar, but, Russian Navy has more pink-ish undertones tones, and Blue Satin does not. That's one of the reason why I love Blue Satin as opposed to Russian Navy.

I called Macy's and the Chanel rep was actually really useful. She said that they just came in. I went and she hadn't even gotten them out of the box! I got the Blue Satin and the Azur. FYI the 4 new colors are MADE IN FRANCE rather then MADE IN USA!
