Yellow Nail Polish Comparisons

Yellow Nail Polish Swatch Comparisons - Yellow Fever, Phosphor, Solar Power

The summer is heating up and what better way to start off with some bright sunshiney colors.  Here's just a few yellow nail polish comparisons.  Although, yellow may not suit everyone, it's an fun color to sport around this season.

China Glaze, Solar Power ($3.99) - is a taxi cab color with gold shimmer.  This color is a great alternative to Rescue Beauty Lounge's, Yellow fever.  Espically, those looking for a friendlier budget.

Rescue Beauty Lounge, Yellow Fever ($18) - is a vibrant yellow shade with subtle shimmer.  Everything is perfect about this yellow.  The amount of shimmer is hardly recognizable giving the appeal of a cream texture.  But yet, satisfying our deeper shimmer needs.  Yellow Fever - is a brighter, virbant yellow compared to Solar Power - more of a toned down yellow with noticeable golden shimmer.

MAC, Phosphor ($10) - is a golden yellow frost which, was introduced in the Neo, Sci, Fi collection.  It's very unique and much different from Yellow Fever and Solar Power - leaning more towards a pretty golden color.

Check out the photo swatches below.

Solar Power may not be as bright and vibrant as Yellow Fever but, is a great alternative for $3.99.

Yellow shades are on the rise big time this summer.  Chanel will be releasing a yellow color in the robertson blvd collection set to launch online in july which, I can't wait for.  Hope everyone's having  fabulous Sunday.

great swatches! I've been torturing myself over whether or not to buy RBL yellow fever. I think now I'll *have* to get it. : )

That's a great swatch. Really let me know which yellow polish to get. If I can, I'm going to get the China Glaze. Why spend $18 on a trend I might not be rocking next summer?

Hi Rakisha, I would go with China Glaze or Essie. Essie has a nice yellow called shorty pants that I haven't posted yet. I have Essie on my toes today and they look fab. It's really hard justifying $18 for a polish espically in yellow. :)

Love love love your blog Steph! I just recently stumbled upon it when I googled Sally's new polish line. So far since purchasing my first bottle (comander in chic) I have returned to buy 5 more bottles... Seriously has to be the best new nail polish line out there. Top colors for me are Commander in Chic, Grey by Grey, Plum Luck, Lavender Cloud and Pat on The Black. At this speed I think Ill own them all by the end of the month! :)

I tried the "Thinking of Blue" color last night and was very impressed with the wide applicator brush. I actually like it better becuase it provides full coverage. The color is vibrant and funky. I absolutely love the shades. I think that this new line will give Opi a run for its money and I'm an avid Opi girl. However, change can be good. : )

I used to be a strictly OPI girl but when I went shopping for a new spring shade and the selection where I went was picked over I took a chance and tried this in Shell We Dance. The application was easy with the brush reminding me of the Pro Wide style OPI uses. Also the wear is very long lasting and keeps my super thin and brittle nails from breaking and peeling. At a few dollars more than OPI per bottle...I\'m sold!

I'm not gonna lie, right now i have over 15 different purples in my collection... i have a problem. This kind of reminds me of the Hot Topic purple! (which is in my top 3 favorite purples)
