Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 Nail Polish of the Day: CK Steele
It was incredibly hard to choose a nail polish of the day with so many new choices from my vacation, but CK Steele ($10) came out on top. A true metallic steel nail color that's rich and extremely pigmented.
With Steele being so heavily pigmented, my usual three coat "rule" was thrown out the door. The application only required two coats due to fantastic color pay-off. However, I did have a little trouble with my application and it wasn't the formula, but more so the wide fluffy brush.
Sometimes a wide brush has their disadvantages, espically in my case. Since my nail beds are rather small - a full, wide, professional brush may not be best and I found CK's brush just that - fluffy, wide and a litte hard to navigate on my small nail beds. If you notice a unusually large gap between my cuticle and the nail color, well that's becuase of the wide brush.
Crossing my fingers, hoping it's just a brush defect, which may be a good possibilty. Regardless of the brush situation, this is a fab-tastic metallic color! I have another shade coming this week that I'll be testing out.

Isn't it? Givenchy's Purple by night stayed with me pretty much the whole trip! I couldn't bare to take it off! :)

where did u find the Steele color? I've been trying to find it online but they don't sell it on sephora.com
they only sell it in the mini pack, not individually

Hi Jenny,
Sephora just had it up on their site as of two weeks ago....hmmm hopefully it's just out of stock temporarily. I would try emailing Sephora first and see what they say. :)
