Spring 09: Color Club Femme Fatale

Femme FataleColor Club Springs forward this season with two new collections, Femme Fatale and Catwalk Queen.  Each release consists of six new shades of holographic and pearlized textures.  First up is the Femme Fatale collection.

Ooh, la, la...Femme Fatale is a mysterious women of great seductive charm that lives life dangerously.

Color Club gave us all a reason to look forward to spring by introducing new Holoographic shades to the line!  And, what gal doesn't love sport around holo's.

Check out all the swatches below.

Color Club Worth the Risque nail polish

Color Club Femme Fatale Collection

Worth the Risque is a silver holographic shade that applied perfectly in two coats.  Wow, gorgeous, speechless!  The pictures pretty much justify the gorgeousness of this stunner.

Silver Holographic nail polish comparisons

As you can see in the photo comparisons that Worth the Risque texture is completely different from Diamond and OMG.  A def must have!

Color Club Revvvolution nail polish

Color Club Spring Femme Fatale collection

Revvvolution is a black hologrpahic shade that applied perfectly in two coats.  Another break-taking shade.  Wow, amazing!

Black Holographic nail polish comparisons

Revvvolution's coverage is just amazing compared to OPI's MPJ.

Color club Oui Oui nail polish

Oui Oui Oui is a sheer white pearlized iridescent that has greenish shimmer that needs three full coats to achieve the bottle color.

Color club Femme Fatale nail polish

 Color club Spring 09 collection

Femme Fatale is a clear base loaded with pinkish shimmer.

Color Club Oooo La La nail polish

Ooooo La La is a white pearl that needs a good three coats for bottle color.  My swatches could have used an additional coat to even out everything.

Color club Wheres the Soiree nail polish

Where's the Soiree, the outcast of the group, is a black creme that dried watery to a satin like finish.

The Femme Fatale collection is now available at Head2toe and retails for $2.50/ea.

Wow, those are absolutely gorgeous! I wonder how Revvvolution compares to OPI my private jet?

Hi Jinnzor, Aren't they! I love them! Avroys, They are amazing. OPI my private Jet is much more sheer and gray. Revvvolution is very black & opaque in two coats :)! I'll post comparisons soon!

I do want to try this one really bad. It does remind me of MPJ (which I have and like). I love it!

Gorgeous!! Have been debating whether to buy Revvolution and Worth the Risque...(already have OMG & MPJ)....the black actually looks nice too...like the satiny finish...but wonder if topcoat will ruin the look?? Thanks for the great swatches!

Hi Denny, You should def try it! It's so much more opaque than MPJ. :) Hi Erika, Thanks! You should definitely pick them both up. Worth the Risque has a completely different texture than OMG and Revvvolution's opaqueness is just amazing. Yeah, the topcoat will ruin the finish unless you have a satin like topcoat. :)

Love love love your blog Steph! I just recently stumbled upon it when I googled Sally's new polish line. So far since purchasing my first bottle (comander in chic) I have returned to buy 5 more bottles... Seriously has to be the best new nail polish line out there. Top colors for me are Commander in Chic, Grey by Grey, Plum Luck, Lavender Cloud and Pat on The Black. At this speed I think Ill own them all by the end of the month! :)

I tried the "Thinking of Blue" color last night and was very impressed with the wide applicator brush. I actually like it better becuase it provides full coverage. The color is vibrant and funky. I absolutely love the shades. I think that this new line will give Opi a run for its money and I'm an avid Opi girl. However, change can be good. : )

I used to be a strictly OPI girl but when I went shopping for a new spring shade and the selection where I went was picked over I took a chance and tried this in Shell We Dance. The application was easy with the brush reminding me of the Pro Wide style OPI uses. Also the wear is very long lasting and keeps my super thin and brittle nails from breaking and peeling. At a few dollars more than OPI per bottle...I\'m sold!

I'm not gonna lie, right now i have over 15 different purples in my collection... i have a problem. This kind of reminds me of the Hot Topic purple! (which is in my top 3 favorite purples)
