Claires Neon Holos: Nail Polish Swatches
Hope your having a wonderful Saturday. Summer is slowly creeping around the corner and you guys know what that means, Bright Neon Colors! Yep, the brights are back and I have tons of eye catching shades to show you.
To kick off this festive summer trend, I wanted to start with my favorites from Clarie's. One thing I love about Claire's Neons, well two things: Each shade has a holographic glitter effect and most colors aren't as bright as your typical neons, for example: Color Club's Electro Candy, which I'll be previewing next week.
Each shade is infused with a mild holographic glitter effect and dries to a semi gritty matte finish. Now, it's not as gritty as a full fledged glitter nail polish. I don't think you should have any worries with that.
Jen Jen (above) - a yellow green (lime) with holographic glitter. Jen Jen and Lime Shine were the ones that took a four coat application to achieve the bottle color.
Lime Shine - a bright neon green with holographic glitter.
Juluis - a bright neon orange with holographic glitter.
Yel - one of my faves, a little bit more green than the actual swatch, aqua blue with holographic glitter.
Pink Rose - a light pink rose with holographic glitter.
Meg Peg - one of my faves, gorgeous magenta purple with holographic glitter
Flame - bright reddish coral with holographic glitter.
LuLu Belle - a bright hot pink neon with holographic glitter.
The brighter neon colors for the brave: Lime Shine, Juluis, Lulu Belle, and the not so bright for anyone: Flame (kinda bright but not overly), Meg Peg, Pink Rose, Yel and Jen Jen.
These are available at Claries and retail for $3.50/ea. What your guys take on Neons? I'll wear anything, of course! Have a wonderful Saturday!

My faves are Flame and Jen Jen. Do these colors dry with a smooth or gritty surface?

Hi Jinnzor,
Awwwe - Your such a doll! Your nails are my "wish I could only have long nails but can't" :)
Hi BellaDonnaForte,
Me too, aren't they the best! Great choices!
Hi Tessi,
I can't believe I forgot to mention that! A semi bit gritty, but nothing like a true glitter polish. Definitely manageable! :)

Yes, Meg Peg is a bad a** color. I have to get this one! It looks almost like Superstar's Rising Star Razzberry. Do you have that color too?

I love these colors, and unfortunately I did not know about this collection when it came out. Would you happen to have any extra bottles that you would be willing to sell or know of someone who might? I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks
