Pedi of the Day: Black with White Polka Dots

Black and White Polka Dot Pedicure

Hope your having a fabulous Saturday peeps! Tonight, me and the hubb are hitting a local bar for some Karaoke fun at our favorite wing place! Not that you would catch me singing or anything, but my husband can sure carry a tune. It's always entertaining watching everyone else!

Originally, when I started this classic Black and white polka dot design, it was full force dots. Now, as you see, it's only half that.

The best thing about acrylic paint, you can wipe or pick the dots right off, as long as you haven't sealed with a topcoat. That's exactly what happened in my case (I picked the suckers right off with my nail lol), and I really like the subtle effect of the dots.

Check out one more picture below.

Have a great weekend! You guys have any Saturday plans?

Haha, classic! These are so cute! They could almost be like a reverse color dice! I've thought about doing something like that, but dice have 6 sides, not 5 :) Any suggestions? I was thinking doing it on my hands and then do 6 on my big toes.

Hi Kelliegonzo, Thanks so much!! You gotta love those lazy weekends! Hi Danica, hehe, your so right!! My hubby actually said that they looked like dice too!! :) You could always start with (2) then.. 3, 4, 5, 6? I never know what to do with that 1. Have a great one!

Love love love your blog Steph! I just recently stumbled upon it when I googled Sally's new polish line. So far since purchasing my first bottle (comander in chic) I have returned to buy 5 more bottles... Seriously has to be the best new nail polish line out there. Top colors for me are Commander in Chic, Grey by Grey, Plum Luck, Lavender Cloud and Pat on The Black. At this speed I think Ill own them all by the end of the month! :)

I tried the "Thinking of Blue" color last night and was very impressed with the wide applicator brush. I actually like it better becuase it provides full coverage. The color is vibrant and funky. I absolutely love the shades. I think that this new line will give Opi a run for its money and I'm an avid Opi girl. However, change can be good. : )

I used to be a strictly OPI girl but when I went shopping for a new spring shade and the selection where I went was picked over I took a chance and tried this in Shell We Dance. The application was easy with the brush reminding me of the Pro Wide style OPI uses. Also the wear is very long lasting and keeps my super thin and brittle nails from breaking and peeling. At a few dollars more than OPI per bottle...I\'m sold!

I'm not gonna lie, right now i have over 15 different purples in my collection... i have a problem. This kind of reminds me of the Hot Topic purple! (which is in my top 3 favorite purples)
