Wet n Wild Craze Nail Polish: Swatches

Wet n Wild Craze nail polish

Now that you've seen a preview of Morbid and Glitz, I'm bringing you the remaining swatches of Wet n Wild's new Craze line.

Brief Description: These unbelievable shades come in a high performance formula in colors specially selected from the season's latest trends. The quick-dry, chip-resistant formula applies smooth and leaves nails with a long-lasting, shiny finish. Formaldehyde, toluene, and phthalate free. Cruelty Free.

Each bottle is packaged in a cute and stylish floral design that averages .34 oz, a little bigger than a mini size. Since these bottles are smaller, I can see the round, short brush may be a problem for some of us when applying color. No biggie, just a little awkward at first.

The formula was smooth and fast drying with no overall application issues.

Check out em out!

Wet n Wild Craze Inferno nail polish

Inferno - burnt orange with shimmer.

Wet n Wild Craze Jade nail polish

Jade, a semi sheer apple green with shimmer.

Wet n Wild Craze Goldmine nail polish

Goldmine, a semi sheer gold with shimmer.

Wet n Wild Craze Lust Nail Polish

Lust, bright hot pink with flashes of blue shimmer.

Wet n Wild Craze Rustic nail polish

Rustic, an opaque deep metallic rusty bronze with a foil appeal.

Wet n Wild Craze Shield nail polish

Shield, a petwer bronze with flecks of copper that has a foil appeal. A close dupe to Covergirl's Bronzed Beauty.

Wet n Wild Craze Glitz nail polish

Glitz, a multi colored pink glitter with silver, pink, and light blue in a clear base.

Multi pink glitter nail polish comparisons

Both these are similar, but Rockstar pink is a deeper shade of pink with noticeable blue and red glitter.

Wet n Wild Craze Morbid nail polish

Morbid, is a deep, opaque shade of forest green that's amazing.

Dark Green nail polish comparisons

Morbid and Jasper Jade aren't exact dupes, but close. Jasper Jade is more brighter green and Morid is a deeper forest.

For some reason, my swatches didn't capture as well for Noctural. It's a deep shade of navy blue, much like Lippmann's Devil in a blue dress. I'll post a new swatch tomorrow.

This collection may be a little hard to track down, but should start popping up in the new couple of weeks. Any takers? Have a fantastic night!

Hi! I love reading your blog, especially reading about the newest drugstore collections. I saw the Craze line on their site and have been anxiously waiting for several weeks now. Thank you so much for the swatches. I was wondering, how close are Morbid and the Insta-Dri Jumpin Jade? Are they close enough to get just one or different enough to justify getting both? Greens and Blues <3

I wish I could get the Morbid one. We don't have it here in Brazil, but I'm always tuned for polish news!

Hi Steph,
Love your blog. You wrote: Always wrap the free edge or tip throughout each step. I didn't see this step in the video. Could you please explain how to do the wrap process and with what material. Thank you.

I am wondering if these gel polishes can be used with other gels. I have a different system with a different brand of base coat and top coat, can the different brands of gel mix?

I've had my kit for a couple of months now and love the way it lasts; but the Structure and Brilliance brushes are starting to stiffen and so is the gel in the bottles. Anyone else having that issue? Is there a way to thin them out?

Hi, does anyone know if I can thin out the red carpet base coat so that it is easier to apply?

Hi Prinzy,
It was a gorgeous color! I remember picking up a few bottles because I loved the color so much! lol! Actually, yes, I'm launching a store in the next couple of weeks. I have everything built, I'm just working on the Terms and Conditions right now, so it should be very, very soon.

I only have about 10 Studio M colors in the store currently, but I will be taking special pre-orders once it opens.

Hi Sarah,
I'm not sure about retail stores, but you can still find them on amazon.com.

Can I still buy them in the stores now?

I've been playing with this system for about a month now. I love it! When I first started I used the clear just so I could get a feel for it. Then I got adventurous and tried a "sandwich" with a China Glaze color. It probably would have stayed on longer if I had been able to seal off the edges, but my nails were so short it was a bit difficult. The next time I used RCM gel polish in Simply Stunning (a pale slightly shimmery nude color). This time I had gotten enough practice to really make my coats thin and it worked out fabulous. I'm trying to send all my friends the Ulta 20% coupon (5/26 is the last day) so they can get a kit for about $64. :) Now I hope to get a little creative with color combos and nail design. Thanks for the review.
