New Icing nail colors: I'm seeing Green

Icing by claires new colors

Happy Monday everyone! Hope ya'll had a wonderful weekend! Today I'm bringing you four new colors from Icing by Claire's and two of them being my favorite color, Green!

You've probably heard me say this a thousand times and I'll continue to say it, Icing's nail polish seriously rocks!

The unique shades are unbelievable. I just wish they'd work on improving the application brush a bit. Besides that, this would be a kick ass brand!

Everytime I visit my Icing store in the mall, it never ceases to amaze me that I come home with four bottles, at least. They always have updated colors, I love it!

Check em' out!

Icing Laura's Fave nail polish

New nail polish color from Icing by Claires

I can see why this is Laura's Fave, it's gorgeous. A bright seafoam green or minty green with fine subtle blue and silver shimmer. The blue shimmer makes this a tad bit more blue toned compared to Essie's Greenport

Icing Bad Apple nail polish

New nail polish colors from Icing

Bad Apple is by far an amazing green and quickly becoming one of my favorites. A semi sheer jelly that's darker than Essie's Dominica Green, but equally beautiful. Green Lovers, this is a must have! Run, hike or drive to your nearest Icing, it's well worth it.

Icing Paparazzi nail polish

New nail polish colors from Icing

Paparazzi is a rustic orange with silver and holographic glitter. You know I'm all for bling, so I couldn't pass this one up.

Icing Taylor nail polish

Icing by Claires pastel pink nail polish

I passed up Taylor at least four times before I actually snatched her up. The unique blend of light pink and slight lavender undertones kept pulling me in.

You can find these at Icing stores (USA, Canada) usually located in your local Mall. The nail polishes retail for $4.50/ea and they have buy one, get one half of deals going on regularly.

Have a great Monday!

Hey Steph, Laura's Fave looks amazing (as well as Bad Apple) but I was wondering. Is Laura's Fave a dupe of one of their mini bottles from a little while ago called Razeberry (I believe). You swatched that mini-set before if I'm not mistaken. Thanks! Holly

Hi Holly, It's called Oceanview and it's much more sheer than Laura's Fave. Both colors are similar, but not exact dupes. You could probably get by with two coats on Laura's Fave. The color is excellent. :)

Oh my God - you had me at green! That is an incredible shade, but I haven't seen them for sale in Canada. Like Lucy, I'm also interested in if you know of anyplace online where they sell this brand...and hopefully they ship those babies here.

Hi Lucy and Glockoma, Unfortunately, these are only available at Icing stores. But, they do have some stores in Canada :)

I really, really want Paparazzi, but there are no Icing stores in my area. I did find Milani's Disco Lights, which I believe you've posted on before. Are they dupes, by any chance?

Hi Steph,
Love your blog. You wrote: Always wrap the free edge or tip throughout each step. I didn't see this step in the video. Could you please explain how to do the wrap process and with what material. Thank you.

I am wondering if these gel polishes can be used with other gels. I have a different system with a different brand of base coat and top coat, can the different brands of gel mix?

I've had my kit for a couple of months now and love the way it lasts; but the Structure and Brilliance brushes are starting to stiffen and so is the gel in the bottles. Anyone else having that issue? Is there a way to thin them out?

Hi, does anyone know if I can thin out the red carpet base coat so that it is easier to apply?

Hi Prinzy,
It was a gorgeous color! I remember picking up a few bottles because I loved the color so much! lol! Actually, yes, I'm launching a store in the next couple of weeks. I have everything built, I'm just working on the Terms and Conditions right now, so it should be very, very soon.

I only have about 10 Studio M colors in the store currently, but I will be taking special pre-orders once it opens.

Hi Sarah,
I'm not sure about retail stores, but you can still find them on amazon.com.

Can I still buy them in the stores now?

Debra said, on May 26th, 2012 4:59 pm regarding Product Review: Red Carpet Manicure Pro Kit
I've been playing with this system for about a month now. I love it! When I first started I used the clear just so I could get a feel for it. Then I got adventurous and tried a "sandwich" with a China Glaze color. It probably would have stayed on longer if I had been able to seal off the edges, but my nails were so short it was a bit difficult. The next time I used RCM gel polish in Simply Stunning (a pale slightly shimmery nude color). This time I had gotten enough practice to really make my coats thin and it worked out fabulous. I'm trying to send all my friends the Ulta 20% coupon (5/26 is the last day) so they can get a kit for about $64. :) Now I hope to get a little creative with color combos and nail design. Thanks for the review.
