LA Girls Flare: New Nail Polish Colors

LA Girl Flare new nail polish colors

It's a dreary, rainy Tuesday and hopefully your day is fabulous as ever! And if it's not, maybe these new L.A. Girls Flare nail polishes will cheer you up a bit!

Recap: L.A. Girls Flare is a nail polish brand you can find at Urban Outfitters or Forever 21 usually located in your mall. Personally, I prefer going to F21 because the retail cost is half the price from Urban Outfitters.

Most shades are full of life, loaded with opaque color and no true applications issues. The brush is small and thin like Essie's, but I don't mind - my petite nail beds love them!

Check em' out!

LA Girls Flare Mustard Yellow nail polish

Nostalgia, a mustard creme. Yellows are on fire this summer, so it don't suprise me that this unique color pulls me in. A bit more yellow than OPI's the it color.

LA Girls Flare orchid purple nail polish

Purple Foil nail polish swatch

Celestial is a dose of foilstastic heaven...A light purplish silver that's definitely unique in my collection.

LA Girls Flare indigo blue nail polish

LA Girls Flare in Magnetism nail polish

Magnetism, a great mid tone blue that's along the lines of Sephora's Blue Grotto and Misa's On the Edge.

LA Girls Flare Fame nail polish

LA Girls Flare Purple Blue Glitter nail polish

It's Glitter time!! Fame, a purple, blue and pink glitter in a clear base. Pretty much the same version as L.A. Girl Rock Star in Overdose.

LA Girls Flare Rockstar nail polish

We have another L.A. Girl Rockstar look alike to Supernova. Rockstar is a semi sheer, gray jelly with holographic silver confetti.

LA Girls flare Sunset nail polish

Sunset, a peachy orange with flashes green shimmer. A lighter version than Maybelline's Sunset Prisms, love those peaches!

LA Girls Flare Eureka gold nail polish

Eureka, a gold glitter in a clear base.

LA girls flare spicy salmon nail polsh

Spicy Salmon is actually really pretty! The subtle pink and gold shimmer isn't to noticeable in this Salmon orange, but still a great color!

LA girls flare ravishing pink glitter

Ravishing, rose colored pink glitter in a clear base.

You can find these in store at Urban Outfitters, Forever21 and online at Cherry Culture. Have a great day!

I love LA Girl Flare polishes, but tracking them down can be so tricky!! First, Cherry Culture only has some colors (mostly old neons like Bedazzle and Gleaming.) Second, Forever 21 online only has some colors available and some of their stores don't carry them at all. (At the one in my mall the sales people always look like I asked if they carry Windex or something ridiculous.) Third, Urban Outfitters carries a lot of colors, but they are overpriced and constantly changing, so I go to buy one color and they don't have it. Also, the name confusion doesn't help, are they named colors or are they called specific names? Sorry for the rant Steph, but I love these polishes and then I drive myself crazy trying to track them down. (Last part of rant now, I swear, ha ha) And why doesn't the LA Girl website carry them? Does that seem odd to anyone else? Ok...I'm done. Sorry again Steph, you know I adore your blog and as always, thanks for the swatches and info.

I absolutely love the LA Girl Flare line! The quality surpasses the price, and the color selection is absolutely gorgeous. Going to pick some of these babies up next time I go to Forever 21. Thanks for sharing these Steph!<3

Hi! I love Rockstar and Celestial! OMG! :) These are great colors. I feel as if the confetti glitter is under rated!! :) Have a great day!

I really like Rockstar and Sunset. I agree with Betty about not being able to find these polishes. I work right across from Urban Outfitters and they never had the Seagrass one I wanted so badly and I don't think they will have these either. It makes me sad.

Hi Steph,
Love your blog. You wrote: Always wrap the free edge or tip throughout each step. I didn't see this step in the video. Could you please explain how to do the wrap process and with what material. Thank you.

I am wondering if these gel polishes can be used with other gels. I have a different system with a different brand of base coat and top coat, can the different brands of gel mix?

I've had my kit for a couple of months now and love the way it lasts; but the Structure and Brilliance brushes are starting to stiffen and so is the gel in the bottles. Anyone else having that issue? Is there a way to thin them out?

Hi, does anyone know if I can thin out the red carpet base coat so that it is easier to apply?

Hi Prinzy,
It was a gorgeous color! I remember picking up a few bottles because I loved the color so much! lol! Actually, yes, I'm launching a store in the next couple of weeks. I have everything built, I'm just working on the Terms and Conditions right now, so it should be very, very soon.

I only have about 10 Studio M colors in the store currently, but I will be taking special pre-orders once it opens.

Hi Sarah,
I'm not sure about retail stores, but you can still find them on amazon.com.

Can I still buy them in the stores now?

I've been playing with this system for about a month now. I love it! When I first started I used the clear just so I could get a feel for it. Then I got adventurous and tried a "sandwich" with a China Glaze color. It probably would have stayed on longer if I had been able to seal off the edges, but my nails were so short it was a bit difficult. The next time I used RCM gel polish in Simply Stunning (a pale slightly shimmery nude color). This time I had gotten enough practice to really make my coats thin and it worked out fabulous. I'm trying to send all my friends the Ulta 20% coupon (5/26 is the last day) so they can get a kit for about $64. :) Now I hope to get a little creative with color combos and nail design. Thanks for the review.
