OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection for Spring

OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection

Product: OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection, Nail Lacquer .5 oz
Retail Price: $8.50/ea
Steph's Rating: 3.8 Kisses
Buy it: TransDesign, Professional Salons

When January and February find you buried in a mountain of cupids and hearts, OPI and Disney will take you Underland to a world of wild imagination and color!

This Spring, OPI and Disney celebrates the remake of Alice in Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton, with a limited edition collection of four new nail lacquers. Absolutely Alice and Mad As A Hatter - magical glitters for your fun side, and Off With Her Red and Thanks So Muchiness - classy, powerful reds for your romantic side.

Glitter lovers, you are going flip for these glistening gems... They are fab! We all know fame comes with a price tag, and in this case it's the removal process. Let acetone be your friend.

Check out the swatches!

OPI Absolutely Alice Nail Polish

OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection

Just looking at Absolutely Alice makes me smile. The blue glitter with flecks of gold sparkles to your little heart desires. She's intoxicating, breathtaking and just has that wow factor.

OPI Mad as a Hatter Nail Polish

OPI Alice in Wonderland collection

Based on OPI's description I was expecting Mad As A Hatter to be more blackened. Even though the multi-colored glitter is in a clear base, the overall color leans towards silver.

OPI Off with her red nail polish

OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection

Off With Her Red - is a reddish orange creme. I'm not a big fan or reds, but the orange undertones gave this one a kick. It falls along the lines of a harvest red.

OPI Thank you so Muchiness nail polish

OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection

Thank You So Muchiness - is a red shimmer with subtle, pink glitter flakes. In my second swatch, you can slightly see the chunky flakies.

All in All, Great Collection! Absolutely Alice and Mad As A Hatter are the star attractions. The application and formula was decent with 2-3 coats for good coverage. If you're interested in any colors, make sure you grab them quickly - the glitters are more than likely to sell out.

Did you pick up anything from OPI's Alice in Wonderland Collection? Are you planning to check out the movie in March?

Love Absolutely Alice! Not a glitter lover though due to the difficulty of removing it from the nail. I have a question though, how do you keep your cuticles so neat, mine always overgrow so quickly!

Hi Koukla512,
Absolutely Alice is so gorg! I know what you mean, the removal process is such a pain. I keep my nails extra moisturized, I'm kind of a lotion freak. Solar Oil and Solar Balm have been my savior through this cold, cold winter.

i've been waiting to get paid so i can go pick up this collection. i'm not much of a glitter polish lover either but the blue is absolutely beautiful. it seems like i've been buying every alice in wonderland collection lately. i just recently bought urban decay's alice in wonderland eyeshadow palette. i will most definitely be going to see this movie. johnny depp + tim burton = love.

I'm generally not a huge fan of glitters, but I am really liking the 2 that came out with this, especially Mad As a Hatter!

I love your seeing your swatches because your nails are so cute! I've bought the two glitters from this collection and can't wait for them to arrive. And yes, I'll definitely be seeing the movie...just hope that it lives up to the hype.

I tried the "Thinking of Blue" color last night and was very impressed with the wide applicator brush. I actually like it better becuase it provides full coverage. The color is vibrant and funky. I absolutely love the shades. I think that this new line will give Opi a run for its money and I'm an avid Opi girl. However, change can be good. : )

I used to be a strictly OPI girl but when I went shopping for a new spring shade and the selection where I went was picked over I took a chance and tried this in Shell We Dance. The application was easy with the brush reminding me of the Pro Wide style OPI uses. Also the wear is very long lasting and keeps my super thin and brittle nails from breaking and peeling. At a few dollars more than OPI per bottle...I\'m sold!

I'm not gonna lie, right now i have over 15 different purples in my collection... i have a problem. This kind of reminds me of the Hot Topic purple! (which is in my top 3 favorite purples)

I picked up Greener, Wildlife, Forest and Reclaim. Reclaim and Wildlife stand out because they are unique, but Greener is still a stunner in my book.
