If you're looking for fresh bursts of energy this Spring, Nicole by OPI has you covered with five new hues from juicy strawberry to fresh squeezed oranges.
Each color is in a thin, jelly like formula with glimmery flecks. It's not quite as fine as the glass shimmer in China Glaze's Surf Collection and not so large as Summer Days.
Aside from the asymmetrical shaped bottle that makes photographing difficult for us swatchers, I have no complaints about the application or formula. Now we can't hold a little thing like that against them - can we? Most of the colors applied semi sheer after the first coat, but since these have buildable coverage - three coats is all you need.
Check out the swatches.
Fresh Squeezed is a color I previously reviewed, it's a sunkissed orange with duochrome shimmer flecks. In the bottle, the duochrome particles flash between gold, pink, and bronze but don't quite transfer to the nail. A great orange for summer!
Make Mine Lime is the color I was looking forward to most, but in the end I was a little disappointed mostly because of its sheerness. Regardless, it's still a great color and you could totally rock this over a base for layering! Very Sparkly and Foil-y.
You're an Angel is an unexpected surprise and one of my favorites from the collection. It's bright, but not too bright. A juicy strawberry pink with duochrome shimmer flecks. Strawberry Fields by China Glaze is much more magenta compared to Nicole's.
Yellow It's Me is another winner from Nicole. It's a soft lemony shade with the same duochrome flecks as Fresh Squeezed and You're an Angel. She sparkles so pretty in the sun!
Not quite candy apple red, maybe more of raspberry color since it applies semi sheer. I Stop for Nicole is a stunner! It's loaded with shimmer flecks and glitter like Make Mine Lime... not quite as foil-y. Total glitz and glam.
Overall, Awesome collection! Bright, Juicy, Vivid colors with a spin of shimmer flecks and glitter. Good application and coverage in three coats. Nicole by OPI polishes are Big 3 Free and retail between $6.99 - $8.99/ea.
Have you guys picked up any Spring colors? What do you think of this collection? Check out what's coming up this Fall from Nicole, Gossip Girl! Hopefully we'll see the launch here in the US.

Hi Madame Faye,
Isn't she a beauty? It's definitely much better in person, so glad you loved it!

I have the orange, pink, and yellow. The yellow is great, I layer it over Sally Hasen HD "Hue".
