Sneak Peek: China Glaze Midnight Mission
First, before we get to the press release details, a sneak peek at Midnight Mission from the Vintage Vixen Collection by China Glaze. Described as a navy blue frost with silver micro glitter. It's a little bit metallic with a somewhat foil-y sheen to it from the micro glitter. Great Color, Great Application!
For Fall 2010, the China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection captures the vivid and saturated hues of the 1940’s with this seductively complex palette. These classic shades of the season recreate the timeless tableau of movie land mystique, perfect red pouts and steamy nights where swing was the scene!
Step out with these multi-faceted jewel tones, rich reds, titillating taupes and smoldering sands. This collection delivers a high octane 40’s era glamour with a sophisticated edge! The 12 colors in this collection include:
In the The Hotsy Totsy Set: Jitterbug – Grey chrome with silver micro glitter, Bogie – Plum frost with shimmer, Hey Doll – Rose frost with shimmer, Foxy – Burgundy frost with shimmer, Ingrid – “Greige” crème with copper micro glitter and Swing Baby – Taupe frost with silver micro glitter.
In the Cat's Meow Set: Goin’ My Way – Brown frost with copper shimmer, Riveter Rouge – Deep red shimmer, Classic Camel – Khaki crème with gold micro glitter, Emerald Fitzgerald – Turquoise green frost with shimmer, Midnight Mission – Navy blue frost with silver micro glitter and First Class Ticket – Deep purple frost with shimmer.
The China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection starts shipping June 6th internationally and July 6th, 2010 domestically. All 12 colors will be available as open stock, in 6 piece box collection, a 12 piece counter display and a 36 piece rack.

THAT is EXACTLY the color I spent my weekend googling nail polish swatches for. Exactly. Precisely.
Now I just have to wait until July :(.
(And the purple frost with glitter sounds right up my alley, too. But the Navy with glitter is what I've been searching for.)

These are NOT frosts, and it's really kind of dumb of CG to market them that way. Frosts have such a bad reputation for being streaky and tacky looking. When I heard the descriptions, I figured I would only buy the two creme/micro glitters. Now that I've seen swatches, I love every single one of them. I love the summer weather, and all, but fall always brings the best polish collections.

Hi Steph - Thank you for the swatch! This is a blue I think I could wear. I'm so excited about this collection because I love the '40's era and CG looks like they've got a knockout of a collection in VV!

Thanks for the sneak peek!
Very nice! BUT they seem more SHIMMERS than FROSTS? I love Midnight Mission and possibly First Class Ticket! :)
