Finger Paints: Limited Edition Glitters
In addition to the new permanent colors at Sally Beauty, Finger Paints introduces a small two piece display of limited edition glitters. Last week I showed you a preview of Wicked Glitter by itself, and today I'm using an opaque silver foil as my base (pictured above).
The silver layered underneath really brings out the "Mad as a Hatter" in Wicked Glitter, as far as the smokey silver base in OPI's version, which is exactly what I was going for. Wicked Glitter has much more pink/multi, whereas Mad as a Hatter has soft pastel-y glitter.
Check out Sapphire Shimmer.
Sapphire Shimmer, best used as a topper, is a sheer blue tint with silver holographic glitter. Only one problem, the base color is extremely sheer and coverage is not very buildable on its own. Off to my closet, searching for a perfect blue to layer with Sapphire Shimmer. I came up with Sally Hansen's In-a-Blink Blue. How stellar is this combo, love it?!
I've heard Wicked Glitter and Sapphire Shimmer is rumored to be look-a-likes to OPI's Alice and Wonderland glitters; just to clarify, both brands are very different.
What do you think Finger Paints limited edition glitters? Did anyone pick up these up?

We picked up both of these on our last trip to Sally. S thought these would be dupes for the OPIs. I was not convinced. Like you said, they were not. They are quite different. I am really liking the Sapphire Shimmer combo. It is absolutely stunning. *melts from the amazingness*
