Leopard Nail Art Decals from Icing
Animal prints are regaining popularity this year - from cheetah to tiger and snake skin to crocodile, the fashion scene is exploding with this safari theme and I'm loving it, aren't you?
Icing makes it a cinch to get a sexy leopard look with easy to use nail art decals ($4.00). Each package contains one sheet of black and silver decals with up to 75 stickers.
What I used: Nubar Foundation (base), China Glaze Fast Forward (top coat), LA Color Energy Source (white), Icing Nail Art Decals, and Art Deco Nail Art Paint in black & silver for decorative dots.
Applying nail art decals may not be as difficult as getting them off the plastic sheet! Hello, pain! If you have long nails it's simple to pry them off, then using tweezers for placement on the nail.
When positioning, just be sure you press firmly down so that the sticker is completely flat with no air bubbles.
In my experience it's best to use a thick top coat like Seche Vite when dealing with nail decals. When I was going through the testing stages, if they weren't completely flat, the top coat would seep underneath and make an outline of the sticker. That's why it's important to avoid air bubbles all around.
Tip: Add some silver and black polka dots to spice things up a bit.
Overall, Fun, Cute, and Easy! Even though Nail Decals are super convenient, it's just as easy to achieve this look freehand without stickers. Give it a try!
What do you think of Nail Art Decals? Do you like Icing's Leopard print? Have a great night!
